Heavy into my center where the lungs have no air, rests my feeling for this poem. It hits so many topics for me, and a specific time when I wondered “What is the perspective of people watching this madness on TV? What have they felt?” I’m sure Grandpa Grimace and I have shared a similar thought. I’m lucky not to have gone through the eye! And, I see how this plays. The one cold blue man is in here too. 🫶

Good eye! This poem is what inspired me to write "The Burden of Lunar Ticking." You nailed it. We are the same electric lunar shit. We are one. 🙏

While finding place in this scene, my thoughts were on what came first, the poetry or the prose. Easily, I sprout something completely new from reading each of yours and also find how the poems connect to each other and/or your prose. - Though I don’t have much a poetry collection, snippets from my journal tend to become, inspire, or refine into something. Mostly they sit until I take time to read back.
