I'm seeing the pieces of your universe start to connect. I recognize the crows from another story. I can not tell you how much I am enjoying connecting the dots!
Awesome! I always enjoy coming back here. This story, with the pics, has a great Junji Ito vibe. I wouldn't change a damn thing, but I do wish you'd do a Stone People (Homo Lapis) next. Or sometime. The Near East tells legends of stone births with their own agendas, but I'd love to hear your take on this ancient theme.
I just came back to this after seeing it in my notes feed and I gotta tell you, these illustrations are so intensely cool. I love the one with the excavator (my 4 year old nephew told me that’s what it’s called). the reflections in the water are just incredible. I can imagine these panels being printed and framed together as the coolest most horrifying piece of wall art.
Awesome Junji Ito vibes.
I love Japanese horror manga! Thought I'd try my hand at a story in that style. By the way, Junji Ito is the G.O.A T. 🙌
What’s your favorite Junji manga?
Hard to say, but maybe Hellstar Remina. Nothing beats the artwork in that one. Unreal. How about you?
I like Remina too.
That settles it, it's time to pull it off the shelf and give it another read.
Agreed!
Love the Junji ito vibes and I love the art style
I'm glad you enjoyed it, Samira! Thank you!
You should produce more of this. It's great!
Thank you, Michael! I'm sure I will. Glad you enjoyed it! 🙃

You have no idea how happy I am to hear this! I've spent decades now building this puzzle. I'm glad you're enjoying it!
Ooh, that got just as grody as I hoped and the narration was a cherry on top
Glad you enjoyed it, P.K.! 🍻
Love it, homie.
Thank you! 🍻

Oooo, you've got my mind wheels turning. If I can come up with a unique enough plot, I'll certainly try my hand at it. Thanks, Jack!
Good luck!
That one was fun. Great illustrations.
Glad you enjoyed it, Erica! 🫠

This is an excellent idea! It's got my mind bubbling. Thanks, EJ!
So cool to see the visual component after listening to the story
Happy you enjoyed it! I may try more of these in the future.
You definitely should
