Come 'round, folks, & listen up. Every Monday, we'll sit 'round the campfire & tell stories. Sometimes they'll be creepy. Sometimes they'll be funny. Sometimes they'll be creepy & funny. Tune in!
I wish I could explain why these Eighth Block stories hit me the way they do, but I truly can’t. After some time away, I’ve found my way back to it and it’s like I never left. 🙂↕️ I now have the compulsion to read my favorites again, immediately. Happy Halloween William!
Hey! 👋🏻 Unfortunately I have class all day. BUT I still plan on eating candy and being weird. Pizza and trick or treating with my kids in the evening. Are you doing the same?
Eating candy and being weird. 👌 I'm actually moving all day. It's our last day to move stuff out of the old place. Straight torture. 😫 But, yes, trick or treating with the kids tonight. We have a little Beetlejuice and a little Pennywise. Our (almost) 16 year old is currently too cool for Halloween. 😅 I'm hoping to end the night sipping bourbon around a campfire in our new backyard. Maybe tell a spooky story or two. 😉 Hope you all enjoy your evening!
Kind of you to say. 🙃 But I don't really consider myself an artist, just a writer. I don't do most of the artwork featured on my Substack. Honestly, I'd rather spend my free time writing.
Oh my this was awesome! I laughed my Butt off!! Great job William! Why do you call these the 8th Block? I remember you from Jeff Childers Coffee & Covid! Glad you have your own page.
Thank you, Susan! So glad you enjoyed this story! To answer your question, the Eighth Block Tower is the setting for many of my stories. It's a place where you can only expect the unexpected. I have fun playing around with the residents there. Oh, and with Coffee & Covid—as far as I know, I've never been featured there, but I'm still happy you found your way here! Glad to have you! 🙂

Andrea! So glad to see you back around here! Happy Halloween! Any festivities planned?

I have a unicorn princess and a giant inflatable pink blob (Fall Guys?) this year. 😆Congrats on yalls new home! That sounds awesome! 🤙🏻
Nothing can top a giant pink blob. Nothing. 👏
Did you do the artwork yourself for the logo? It looks awesome!
Yes, I did the logo myself. Thank you! 🫠
A man of many talents!
